Default whats best

can someone here tell me what is a good program to fix damaged photos. I have photoshop cs5. but is there better ones

EDIT: I cannot believe there has been 57 views on my post yet not 1 person can help

Photoshop is probably the best known and most popular photo editing software. I wouldn't bet you would find many people to say there is anything 'better', but there certainly are programs which are less expensive and easier to learn.
My personal preference for some years now is Photoimpact, yet it somehow is one of the least known.
Each program has techniques for repairing damaged photos, and it takes a good bit of time and patience to learn how to use them. Results depend more on the user than on the program used.

Well I thank you for at least replying, after 71 views you are the only one who replied. ok many thanks for this I do have photoshop cs5 but maybe will also give Photoimpact a go as well
