Default The Great Houdini

A before and after colorization of Houdini. It was reported he wore a bright cerise bathing suit so he could easily be seen in the water should he get into trouble. The lady behind him is Bess, his wife. She was dressed in almost similar colors.

G'day mate

Pleased to see that you are still enjoying your colouring-exercises ... these images do come to life after your efforts. I am most impressed with your dedication and obvious expertise

Ozzie, its great fun to do and very satisfying. There is a ton of material that needs restoration and coloring. American Civil War, WWI and WWII, silent film stars, old cowboy movies, even family photos. Ive learned a lot since doing this. No matter how complicated a photo looks, its just one pixel at a time. Peter Jackson has just finished coloring a thousand hours of film from WWI. He has chopped that down to a couple of hours for a documentary he is presenting soon in England. There is a trailer on Youtube if you are interested in this stuff. Its amazing and the technology he used has finally reached the point where a movie looks good and not distracting like those done previously.
