The grain is due to the setting I used in Virtual Photographer. It doesn't have to be there. Being an old time b/w film guy, I find the texture of some grain to add to a photo, especially if there are large areas of sky or flat surfaces. I have seen vey few surfaces in nature that don't have texture, so when I see some of the heavily denoised digital piictures, they look totally unnatural.
